ART + ALCHEMY

”ALCHEMY NO. 6 - The Whisper of a Human’s Touch”

Humanity craves the sense of real human touch. This work echoes back the soft “whisper” of an artist’s hand where subtle brush strokes and an oil pastel, moving across the canvas, are preserved forever on the painting’s surface. This is what makes life rich and fulfilling…that our lives feel personal - not perfect, but it’s more beautiful counterpart…it feels real.

Compositionally, while the image is comprised of two-dimensional line work, it evokes a sense of stability and structure juxtaposed with moments of unique accents as your eye meanders through the smaller geometrics within. The internal design also create a supporting frame work that address aesthetics via proportion and scale, with angled lines bringing in a dynamism to the strong outer verticals and horizontals. Much like us humans, I suppose we need both.

Each piece in the Alchemy Collection combines minimalist design aesthetics with the rich, organic texture of mineral paint evoking a sense sophistication and elegance. Every piece is made by hand, capturing the detailed nuances of brushwork on the canvas’s surface.
